Scoring methodology
This page explains how Table Scorekeeper applies score deltas, tracks rounds, determines leaders with an optional target, and what it does not calculate.
Score ledger model
Each player row stores a running integer score. Quick buttons and Apply call applyDelta with the chosen increment; the engine appends an undoable event to an internal stack.
Undo pops the most recent event only—there is no arbitrary jump to older states beyond repeated Undo presses.
Target score and leaders
When targetScore is set, winners() marks players at or above that value and leaders() highlights current high scores for display.
Ties and house tie-breakers are not automated—you enter adjustments manually if your game requires them.
Rounds and notes
nextRound increments the round counter and attaches an optional note string to that transition for your own recap.
Round notes do not change scores unless you also tap point buttons.
Storage and mini tools
The active game serializes to localStorage under the score namespace on this device.
Shuffle turn order uses a local shuffle of names for facilitation only; it does not write score changes.
